The earrings are finished off with your choice of stainless steel or .925 sterling silver ear wires - both are hypoallergenic options. Stainless have a slightly darker appearance, though it is not noticeable when earrings are being worn, and they will not tarnish. Sterling silver has a brighter appearance, but will need polishing to avoid tarnishing over time.
